Hello, and welcome! My name is Nandini Das, and I am an Assistant Professor of Economics at Christopher Newport University starting Fall 2026. I completed my PhD in Economics at Virginia Tech. My research is primarily in the areas of applied microeconomics, development and agricultural economics. Alongside my research, I care deeply about teaching that helps students think critically and see the relevance of economics in everyday life.
